I attended a 4 days seminar + championship holiday in Terracina.
It was very good to spend 4 days (14-17 june) with sifu bonomelli, sifu acquistapace, loretta, francesco and all the gang. Mater Sipin was the guest instructor and teached us a couple of very useful”street tactics” - not something i d use (kinda lethal=), but very good to know.
This mix of martial art and school trip is very enjoyable.
During the days there were two championships:
The Wekaf european and the Akea Open. I enrolled in Akea open, one and two sticks.
The difference between the two set of rule is kinda big.
Under Wekaf rules you have to hit the opponent as much as you can with most techniques you can. Spectacular, fierce and kinda bad for the part of your legs which are not covered by the armour. :-)
the Akea’s is in my opinion less spectacular but more “real”. you must hit the opponent 4 time per round ONLY at the head or under the knee. the hit excange last very few seconds as you can see in this video: Akea open tournament (franesco vs the under80 kilo category winner)
