Kill Bill Vol2

Some Spoler ahead !!
Yesterday I went to see the Vol II of the avengening bride with VERY high expectation.
Part I was one of the best movie I have seen in years. Vol II is… lets say “different”. to clarify it out:
Vol I stands to Vol II as Reservoir Dogs stands to Jackie Brown.
There is many “genius” touch ( one for all: during the training, the color and surroundings are alike those old that 70s kung fu movies) and in a way it has similarities to Vol I. ( Hattori Sanzo was japanese legend Sonny Chiba, Pai MEi is Gordon Liu).

But I exected a bit more: it ends like title says (and I am not even sure about that), there is a good speak of Bill about the superman archetipe, we get to know the bride name, California Mountain Snake loses an other eye, we see the homage to Spaghetti western , black mamba gets her revenge a new codename and we have tarantino’s great dialogue
so… what is missing? Action, blood, carnage, ultraviolence and all the other amenities!!
I hope they ll make a 3 hours director cut in the future, more belanced between action and drama:
meanwhile i ll consume my DVD player ( just got Kill Bill).

Class mates

During my hi-skool days i ve been alumni of 3 school: first two years and half was Einstein, then Tuminelli ( also known as La scuola dei Somarelli*) for one semester and then Openheimer till the end. I m still in close contact with my Einstein mates ( still have to write about that revival night), but I ve totally lost the latter two.
But i dont really care about Tuminelli, which was not my cup of tea. i kinda missed Openheimer…
before Easter i met Daniela Bani while going to my Yoga classes… what a better chance?

so i start moving the wheels of destiny, and already got mails / phone number of the whole class.
the first chat by mail have been Hilarous. i m sure old hates have not been dug. gotta book in some native restaurant where the use of knives is forbidden!!
ahahah i ll keep you posted.

Well i start feeling i m changed too!!! my methabolsim is changed for sure. I ve been an ultra-slim teen… now i m just avarage, but still i grow almost 10 kilos in 10 years. that means that by 2199 ( the year i m gonna die :-) i ll be something around 250 kilos. not bad.
So my shape is changing.

about the color, dunno what does color means, but this time i assume this the methaphor of the inner self. and if music is a good mirror of what you are i m definetely an old fart!!!

People likes the music they listen to, and not people listen to the music they like

but still this does not change the point: i m changing. and i m fearfull of that ! and when you realise that you fear changes only when you “sat” in the sofa of life… i am Fucking fearfull !!!!

[ I disgress: you might not agree my above sentence, but carefully think about the meaning of “people” here (=mass) and the general indoctrination that Mtv and Major are perpetrating: maybe then you will comprise what i mean. i used “to comprise” instead of “to understand” for a reason. ]

ps i wanted to describe my day at the park ( lazying out as stated yesterday) but this was more personal.

Pps I am also realising that writing with a dictionary and some more spare time, make my english a bit better and less scholastic. i guess that if i wanna write that damn comic my english should really improve.

this is what i remember of a song an english teacher of mine told us pupils at 2nd grade. I found it a good way to start the topic: my flu has gone, it s saturday, weather is warm, a nice park is waiting for me.
that is a good way to laze!!!

Once Upon a time in China

This movie is not very new (1991): It guests martial artist Jet Li, and is the first of a serie(s)

Plot of the movie ( ripped on some site): Set in late 19th century Canton this martial arts film depicts the stance taken by the legendary martial arts hero Wong Fei-Hung (1847-1924) against foreign forces’ (English, French and American) plundering of China. When Aunt Yee arrives back from America totally westernised, Wong Fei-Hung assumes the role of her protector. This proves to be difficult when his martial arts school and local militia become involved in fierce battles with foreign and local government.

What i have to say about that? I love Hk movies! they are the best for martial arts movie , the best for sword n magic (the so kalled “Wuxiapian”), very good in action , and after having seen Chungking Express ( by Wong Kar-Wai) i gotta say they are good in comedy/love stories.
Anyway, this movie is set at the beginning of 20th century and Wong Fei-hung is a shaolin master. There is some struggle between the westerner and the chinese people with their “progress” (At one point jet li himself says “you cannot fight gun with fists”). the story is not bad at all, and features some great fight.
I think the last fight Wong Fei-hung/ jet li Vs Leung Fu/ Biao Yuen is in the Top 10 movie fights ever.

Bloggin’

Here it’s, as I expected, following the throatache i had, i find myself with a little flu.
I took advantace of this short holiday to sendsome curricula (here you can see my resume in English ).
I ‘ve also tried to set templates and plug ins for this blog. but it s not easy ( unless you feel like screwing all the set up).
I ve started the “salutation to the sun” yoga Gym. it takes 10 minutes per day, so why not? after only 3 months of yoga i feel i ve the first benefit, my back bending has earned a good 5-10 cm!
What else? the writing of my “book” is still idle ( it takes a lot to make charatisation).
The short comic book i plan to release here ( project title: GoodShot! Mr.Censorship) has a decent subject, and i think i myself will draw it. hopefully it will strong enough and break all the rules of the Comic Code.
my dream would be writing that in Esperanto. someone can help me?

throatache

Shit i got throatache. so i spent my day at home. I sent some cvs. make some more studies on the book i d like to write. ( info soon). need to make some more music, too.
I didn’t succeded to use the templates with wordpress. and the present is not my cup of thea.
i think i ve to remake my webpage (www.manolo.biz).
