This one chapter can become Quite long so sit down.
Preambole: I like techno music, my brother likez House. techno-scene is famous for being full of “maranza” (you know the stereotype, loud Tunz tunz music in the car, stupid dresses, that shitty Buffalo shoes n so on). House music is on the contrary for older people, who like nice dresses, more beautiful girls and so on. My brother took always joke of me for me being a techno-head, and i always pulled his leg by saying that his “house” friend are all Gays and Transexuals. That is not a problem per se, but for a conservative dork like my bro it s. hell if it’s ! So he always has been unable to defend himself from my attck.
Moreover i listened and produced a very strange kind of techo, which WAS listened by older people who grow with “bread and elettronica”. I felt un attackable.

That kind of Techno was Hardcore, born in Usa in late 80s, grow and defined in Holland (where it was named Gabber). The in late 90s it become much more commercial and began spreading in Italy.
At the moment the scene is VERY big, and thus the style splitted in mant spin-off. i personally dont like “Hardcore gabber” but I play often in bigger parties my styles (which industrial-speedcore, in case you wonder). That is good for me coz i can earn some money, going to party for free, “knowing” people… well all you have read about Global Nation last weekend.
Anyway in Italy there are 3 different kind of person who listen that: Gabbers, Warrior, and “normal”. As far as it can mean the word “normal” (who is normal?), I can be considered one of them: when i took away my raving dress I look like a common nerd.( SPiderman Spiderman, spin the web, spin the web, Spiderman Spiderman…)
“Warrior” are people that go to NUMBER one club and look mouch more like punk: spike in the hair, gazillion of Piercing, and so on. I myself grew up in that club (i think i ve been there aroun 100+ times!) but i have not any piercing of Tatoo. i guess it depends on the drugs i never took. They like number one and follow Dj Claudio Lancinhouse everywhere.
“Gabber” are more Dutch oriendted and still dress/ dance like Gabbers did in mid 90s in Holland/Belgium.
while the “oldskool gabber” (who have been listening this muzak since 94-95 or earlier ) are much more into music, they are only a minority, where 80-90% of Gabbers do that as a fashon. Typical Gabber dressin:
Nike air, jeans/ australian/Londsdale dress, Bomber and Hat.
of coz their ignorance and small brain reflectz also in their politikal choice: most proclame themself nazi of fascio. But i wonder what kan a 14-yrs-old boy with 6 pills of E in the stomach understand of politics.
I think i am losing my point: The scene is growing So big that a major tv dedicated a 30 minutes News special. of course it was the festival of Banality (B-klass journalist who only work to create scandals, doin a special on people who, BY CHOICE, conform and stereotype themselves. what kind of good kan come out?).
My brother see that and with his conservative attitude he start spitting shit on gabber warrior and so on. can only laugh but this time i feel he touched a nerve. he bastard!! :-)

Baggage are not here yet …. so i went to make some shopppin.
I dont like shopping, so i went i just checked 3 megastore before deciding what shoes to buy. i got a Blu Handball adidas: my bro would say ” that are communist people’s shoes, like your homeless friend..” or maybe not, Since this year his motto is “are you a Gabber or a Warrior?”
ok i guess very few understand this so if you care read next diary page which will dedicate to “warrior and gabber”.

Anyway i also got a nice tee with the Word - NøRREBRO (KBH N) - on it, i like it and it s not a typical turist tee shirt. For the who wonder norrebro is the zone where i am gonna live starting from sat.
It is the cheapest of Copenhagen and it is full of Artists, student Turkish and Jobless… and guess what ? i fell to be part of all above! So i belong to Nørrebro: lets see if Norrebro neighbouhood accept an other short dark head like meah!!!

Need focus!

I come back around 4 AM but the sun was alreay high! i was not even able to see the dawn. need to go out those club much earlier next time.
I wake up at 1130, and sit down to write this diary drug.
What i also wondered is that I vent had any Lucid Dream in last… 6 months and also my dream recallling is very low. focus, manolo, focus. (lucid dreaming? i ll explain also this, an other time)
Today is the day of my Hoouse Moving.

Some news

Woke up really early (something around 8 am!), and spend most morning lazing arund, pick up all the small piece of skum i ve in my room, and surprisliy i guees they can all fit in my 2 baggage. I would have bet i needed an extra one. i guess i ve lost something on the way to- from Milan last weekend. Anyway I studied a bit but then the “sleeping n drooling” syndrome attack me suddently in the library. I quit studying i went to Netto for last supper in CPH center. Tonite i ll go to Vega.

A walk into the park . . .

wake up early coz today is Holiday here in Denmark and i wanted to buy some food. Everything was opened so I went to library to read newspapers… Huge mistake. they closed down at noon while poor manolo was reading corriere della sera. Shit, i didnt have any food on the refigerator and i dint do my shopping. Luckly there was a really HOT sun, and the park was packed. I had no summer dresses (remember those KLM dorks and my baggage?) so i went to park with Winter trouser and shoes… i guess i looked like a weirdo… no problem anyway.
Just in front of me a group of 7 (and i said 7) beatiful girls start tooking away their dresses, piece after piece. My will is strong and thus i survived the show. But i guess that some people i know that are weaker than me in front of the other sex (Mauro, do this kind of person remind you somebody?) would have a Ormonal collapse. i guess that is a good way of dying but not the day after my birthday! whatta fuck!
With my ormone almost ODed i tried to sleep on the park but had strange dream whose remind me that David Lynch’s Movie, “Dune”… “the sleeper must awake”…. “tell me about the water of your planet”…. (ok sorry for my rantling, i guess i m the only who understand this :-)
Anyway during my “spice” trip i also realized that last Sat i cut my hair, the day after i got my backpack stole, and yesterday my baggage is lost. Destiny kall for a new Look for Manolo? well everything seems to say so. but what the hell of look fate is telling me to adopt?

My birthday! I am sorry that i was not able to spend the day with my parents, but they make a HHHHHHAAAAAPPPY BIRTHDAY TOOOOO YOU when i wake up so that is good. i really appreciate.
i got the airplane at 11:10… planning to arrive in CPH at 15:50 and thus being able to go to my third danish classes.
BUT ALL luggage from Amsterdam-Copenhagen was lost or God knows what.
So a WHOLE airplane complaining to the desk! i finished to compile all my “lost” shit at 17:30, not bad.
i took my bus, arrived and home… and went to lesson, late!!
and that is 3 in a ROW! YES! Italian timing Rules!!
ahahah bonk! anywway also this lesson was interesting, tomorrow i need to study a lot. I am also very tired. so i quit writing nonsense in this shitty inklish and go to sleep.

Post Hardcore Nation II

Yesterday i was DEVASTATED by the Party and had ALL my 5 senses phased out! Ears has still that buzz, and my body still need to rest some more hours. of coz i didnt want to spend to much time on Komputer, so i write the report now.
I pick up my good friend Alessandro (known as GORO, from my high skool!) HCM and Naso.
Party was overally good, i like the Techno room a lot, volume was REALLY high, and i do MEAN High. above the bearability.
HCM frazz and I make a good show and i Guess people like that as much as our trax! i used that monster mask and my Black MTV sweater…
it was FUKKING hot. I decided to dress the sweater and the Mask on the back, so I looked like as dressing the mask also if you look at me from behind. I have also some pictures… well i shoukd have coz Some motherfukker stole me the backpack with mask, sweater and Camera! whatta fuck Lupin III is italian, coz he stole me from my feet!!!
I must say that i was not the most focused person at 8 in morning but again, whatta fuck!!!BASTARD!!!
Well anyway 1st JUNe must be remembered also becouse at least rotello build a new starting point in his “career”… everything is more closed to what my target. i guess i ll have to program further step coz the goal is nearer and nearer.
Another big Cheers goes to… she know who she is. and i like to keep my privacy :-)
Also cheers to my friend in Milano-Varese Fabiana, federica, Giorgio and Philip who i eat a nice pizza with on Sacromonte.
I almost forgot! i registred my first two speech on Radio Italia Network, as Corrispondent from Kopenhagen. I spoke about the Vega club and of coz Roskilde.
I guess first episode is on air tomorrow. hope some Mf record it!
